This is also now happening in Western nations. This phenomenon is being described as a 'wind in the House of Islam', yet many Christians are totally unaware of what God is doing. Christians often find themselves alienated from the Muslim people around them, fearful of offending them, or even angry at the Islamisation of their cities and the constant headlines about radical Islamists and Muslim migrants. It’s time to face the facts, but not fuel the fear - to put friendship first. Today, there are millions of Muslims living in Western nations, and many of them are longing to know God personally. Mosques are now common in our neighbourhoods, but do we see the precious people who go there seeking for God? They seek the same God, but sadly have not yet found Jesus. Young Muslims like Khalid or Maryam are desperate to find a sense of belonging and a purpose for life; a young married couple, Mohammed and Noor, long for a sense of peace and joy in their home, yet are constantly arguing and feeling a million miles from God. There is only one answer: we as true believers must wake up to our responsibility to unveil Jesus to the Muslim people around us.
