What is a Mahabba group?
There are many local Mahabba groups in multiple locations around the UK.
Mahabba groups are made up of ordinary like-minded Christians who meet together to pray regularly and encourage each other in their relationships with Muslim friends or neighbours.
Groups typically meet once every few weeks. Some meet online via Zoom. And some also run various different courses, socials and projects, depending on the location.
how do I join a Mahabba group?
The best way to get involved with Mahabba is to find a group local to you and get praying!
Being part of a Mahabba group is really easy - start by praying and then see what’s going on where you are and how you can join in with what’s happening outside of that.
There are lots of groups across the UK, and if you can’t find a local one, you can always join another group that meets online.

I’d like to start a Mahabba group
If there is no group in your area or nearby, but you want to gather people to pray for Muslims, we want to hear from you!
We are able to support and advise you as you get up and running as the coordinator of a local Mahabba prayer and action group.
There are no rules or regulations, but we do ask that you to adhere to a few simple guidelines, which we will run through with you in an induction.
Once you start a Mahabba group as a coordinator, we have lots of resources and support available for you, so you’re not left on your own. Current coordinators find a coordinator-specific WhatsApp group helpful for ongoing encouragement and suppport
