Pray with Christians for Muslims during Ramadan
Ramadan occurs every year (the exact timing, depends on the sighting of the moon) and this year Ramadan 2025 runs from the evening of Friday 28 February 2025 to Sunday 30 March 2025 (dates may vary). There are five Fridays in Ramadan which we will use to provide opportunities for Christians to pray for Muslims.
Ramadan is a great time for us to join as a Network and pray for our Muslim communities. If you can, join us each Friday when we will be led by a different local Mahabba group. You are also welcome to join us on any individual Friday.
The Night of Power is one of the last ten days of Ramadan, some Muslims pray on all of them. Muslims consider this to be an auspicious night when you can hear God. We will meet to pray on the 21st March for the Night of Power that Muslims will have dreams and visions from Jesus during that period.
Here’s how you can get involved with Mahabba this Ramadan:
Joint online prayer, including the Night of Power
A different local Mahabba group has been invited to lead an online prayer meeting for one of the Fridays in Ramadan (except 21 March) when we will pray ahead for the Night of Power.
As such, there will be a central hosting prayer on the following Fridays through Ramadan:
Friday 28th February 2025, 7:30 to 8:15pm UK time
Friday 7th March 2025, 7:30 to 8:15pm UK time
Friday 14th March 2025, 7:30 to 8:15pm UK time
Friday 21st March 2025 (Night of Power), 7:30 to 8:30pm UK time
Friday 28th March 2025, 7:30 to 8:15pm UK time
