Mary is "blessed above all women" (Injeel, Luke 1:42)
Mary was a virgin (Luke 1:34)
Mary belonged to a blessed nation, chosen by God "beyond all others" (Torah, Deuteronomy 7:6, 14)
The birth of Jesus is good news announced by angels "that will cause great joy for all people" (Luke 2:10-14)
