Ramadan: Prayer and fasting notice
Ramadan will soon be upon us (28th February to March 30th, depending on the sighting of the Moon). We have a special season of prayer planned within Mahabba, looking for breakthroughs as we seek the Lord together. This is our opportunity to join together in fervent prayer. The Lord has laid a Scripture on my heart which I want to share with you:
'When I heard these things I sat down and wept. For some days I mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven.' Nehemiah chapter 1 verse 4 (NIV)
When Nehemiah heard about the very sad condition and vulnerability of Jerusalem from those who had seen it first hand he sat down and wept. Then for some days he mourned and fasted and prayed to the God of heaven. God gave him success before the king and the walls of Jerusalem were rebuilt, despite internal discouragements and substantial opposition. As we seek God together for the Muslim community during Ramadan, can I encourage you to pray and fast with us for a breakthrough bringing salvation to multitudes of our Muslim friends?
Fasting is a weapon in our spiritual armoury that can give our prayers a cutting edge making a real difference.
Among the trustees both Katy Knight and myself felt prompted to call for prayer and fasting over this coming Ramadan. So we are inviting you to join us🙏. Let's pray for a move of God that will bring multitudes of Muslim people come into the kingdom of God with great rejoicing as they turn to our Lord Jesus Christ for forgiveness and full salvation.
Fast as you feel led by the Lord. And let's pray with all our heart. May the Lord give us good success as we humble ourselves before Him and seek His face. There is also an opportunity for us all to join together in prayer online each Friday during Ramadan. Please click on this link to register and receive the Zoom link:

There are more details to follow soon of some further Mahabba Network needs which we can pray about together and I will write to you about these matters shortly.
May the Lord bless you very richly
